1. Who we are

Hauraki AI Institute is an online AI-training program. When we say “we”, “us”, or “Hauraki”, we mean the entity operating this site and delivering its courses. When we say “you”, we mean the person registering for and using our program.

2. Your account

You may create one account and use it only for yourself. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for anything done under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register.

3. Your work + our content

Course content, videos, code samples, and assessments are Hauraki’s intellectual property. You keep ownership of the assignments and capstone work you submit; you grant us a limited licence to review, grade, and show anonymised excerpts to future cohorts unless you opt out.

4. Payment + refunds

Founding-cohort enrollments are one-time payments in your region’s currency. See our Refund policy for the window and mechanics.

5. Acceptable use

• No sharing your account or reselling course content.
• No scraping the site or the portal.
• No harassment of TAs, other learners, or the founders.
• No feeding assessments to models or services that publish them.

6. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You may close your account at any time from the portal.

7. Liability

Hauraki is a learning program, not certified professional advice. We won’t be liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the course beyond what your local law requires.

8. Governing law

Which country’s law governs depends on where you registered — see the legal-regime line in the footer for your active region.
